Lägg i blöt 5-24 timmar tills knölen svällt upp. Plantera sedan i jord i 15-21 grader och håll jorden fuktig tills de kommit upp. När de kommit upp vill de ha en ljus och sval (ca15 grader) plats. Det går även att hoppa över fördrivning och plantera ut direkt samtidigt som dahliorna efter blötläggning.
